Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more of the joints. Bone growths or spurs may develop in the affected joints, increasing pain and decreasing mobility. There may be audible cracking or grating noises when the joint moves.
Arthritis is characterized by:
- Pain and stiffness
- Diminished range of motion
- Weight loss
- Often crippling pain
- Tenderness in the affected joint
- Gout typically attacks the smaller joints of the feet and hands, especially the big toe
In healthy joints, the synovial membrane is thin; the cartilage that covers the bones is smooth, and a thin layer of synovial fluid covers the bone surfaces. A problem in any of these areas can result in arthritis. Arthritis may appear suddenly or come on gradually. Some people feel a sharp burning or grinding pain. Some compare the pain to that of a toothache. Moving the joint usually hurts, although sometimes there is only stiffness. Swelling and deformity that takes place in arthritic joints can result from a thickening of the synovial membrane due to calcium deposits or scar tissue, an increase in the secretion of synovial fluid, enlargement of the bones or some combination of these factors. There are many different types of Arthritis.
Two most common forms of Arthritis
Also called degenerative joint disease, involves deterioration of the cartilage protecting the ends of the bones. It is sometimes caused by injury or more commonly, it is the result of wear and tear of aging, diet and lifestyle. The once-smooth surface of the cartilage becomes rough, resulting in friction. The cartilage begins to break down, and the normally smooth sliding surface or the bones become pitted and irregular. Osteoarthritis affects the weight-bearing joints like the knees, hips and back more severely, but it also commonly affects the hands and knuckles. The tendons, ligaments and muscle holding the joint together become weaker and the joint becomes deformed, painful and stiff. Fractures become an increasing risk because osteoarthritis makes the bones brittle. Bony outgrowths called osteophytes tend to develop. Often referred to as “spurs”, osteophytes can be detected by x-ray and develop near degenerated cartilage of the neck or lower back. Osteoarthritis rarely develops before the age of forty, but it affects nearly everyone past the age of sixty. More women than men are affected with osteoarthritis. We recommend that you use the Miracle Magnesium Oil, Miracle Magnesium Blue Spray and Joint Support as a daily supplement whenever a joint is affected. Osteo drops are a combination of herbs that help protect the joints and reduce the pain and inflammation accompanied by this condition.
a type of inflammatory arthritis, is an autoimmune disorder. As with all autoimmune disorders, rheumatoid arthritis is a “self-attacking” disease. The body improperly identifies the synovial membrane as foreign, resulting in Inflammation. We recommend that you use the Miracle Magnesium Oil, Miracle Magnesium Blue Spray and Joint Support as a daily supplement together with the Magnesium Inflama Spray to reduce inflammation and pain as it occurs. IF untreated the bone surfaces are destroyed because inflammation in the joints triggers the production of enzymes that slowly digest adjacent tissue, forcing normal spaces within the joints to become narrow and the bones fuse together. Rheumatoid arthritis frequently occurs in people under forty years of age.
Juvenile Arthritis is a form of Rheumatoid Arthritis that strikes children under the age of sixteen – most of them female.
The onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis is associated with physical or emotional stress, poor nutrition and bacterial infection. While Osteoarthritis affects individual joints, Rheumatoid Arthritis affects all of the body’s synovial joints. Joints tend to make a sound like crinkling cellophane, whereas Osteoarthritis joints make popping, clicking and banging noises.
Arthritis can be caused by bacterial, viral or fungal infection, therefore it is important to use the Olive Leaf capsules to build a strong and healthy immune system and also fight any viral, bacterial or fungal infection that might be present. The microorganisms most commonly involved in this type of disorder are streptococci, staphylococci, gonococci, homophiles or tubercle bacilli and fungi such as Candida Albicans. Injury or even surgery may result in joint infection.
The Spondyloarthropathies are a group of rheumatic disorders that tend to affect the spine. Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) is the most common of these. – Certain joints of the spine become inflamed, then stiffen and become rigid. It is once again important to use the Joint Support together with the Miracle Magnesium Oil and Miracle Magnesium Cooling Gel. If this is confined to the lower back, AS causes virtually no limitation of movement. In some cases however the entire spine may become rigid and bent which can affect breathing. ‘AS’ affects twice as many men as women.
In the case of gout you need to at do a full Liver, Kidney and Gallbladder detox at least once every 6 months. Gout is an acute form of inflammatory Arthritis, occurs most often in people who are overweight and / or who indulge regular in rich foods and alcohol. We also recommend that you use the Miracle Magnesium Oil, Miracle Magnesium Blue Spray, Liver Detox Capsules and Joint Support on a daily basis.
Other Lifestyle Recommendations
Try to eat a diet of about 50% raw foods and fresh live juices. Include a majority of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, raw nuts and seeds, soy products and deep water fish.
Rather use sweet potato instead of potato.
Drink plenty of fluids to help flush out toxins – try to avoid acid-forming drinks such as commercial juices, coffee and milkshakes.
Try to avoid any foods that are high in saturated fats since they raise cholesterol levels and interfere with circulation. They should also avoid fried foods, processed foods, shellfish, dairy products and white flour products such as bread and pasta.
Maintain a regular program of moderate exercise. A daily walk followed by some gentle stretching exercise is good. Let them start slowly and be careful not to overexert themselves.
The Sulphur present in our Sulphur C and vegetables such as eggs, onions and garlic is needed for the repair and rebuilding of bone, cartilage and connective tissue. It may also protect against the abortion of Calcium.
You can also use a Vitamin B complex supplement. Remember to take a good and natural supplement. Never take any Vitamin supplements for longer than a month at a time, take 1 month and leave for two, then you can take it again for a month. Most Vitamin supplements can cause severe Kidney Damage
Raw Ginger Root can be brewed into a Tea- I always suggest mixed with Rooibos Tea and maybe some fresh herbs like mint and lemon Verbena can also aid in pain relief. Drink 1 – 2 cups daily
Eat more Sulphur containing food, such as asparagus, eggs, garlic and onions
Eat fresh Pineapple frequently. Bromelain, an enzyme found in FRESH pineapple is excellent for reducing Inflammation
Avoid Salt that has been chemically “cleaned” Replace the salt in your entire house hold with the Pink Salt which contains 84 different minerals that stabilized your blood sugar and blood pressure unlike everyday “white salt”
Do not take Iron supplements or multivitamin containing iron. Iron is suspected of being involved in pain, swelling and joint destruction. Most supplements are chemically produced as mentioned above. Rather consume iron containing foods instead – Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, fish, lima beans and peas.
Something that can also be used in some cases for pain relief is Heated Castor Oil and Lemon juice – do not boil it. Place cheesecloth or clean white linen in the heated oil mixture and place over the affected area. Cover with a nice heat pack for ½ hour – 2 hours.
Check for food allergies. Allergies trigger inflammation and can aggravate arthritic symptoms, especially those of rheumatoid arthritis.
Spend time outdoors for fresh air. Vitamin D is needed for proper bone formation – SUN
If you are overweight - loose excess pounds. Being overweight can cause and aggravate osteoarthritis.
